Melke will be sharing its Autumn/Winter 2023 collection at Keshet Gallery. Inspired by Roald Dahl classic 'James and the Giant Peach' and Tim Burton's subsequent film adaptation. Full of peaches and pests, this collection leans into detailed craftsmanship and handwork more than ever before. You’ll be sure to find Melke’s signature relaxed style in plaid blazers, peach skirts, and luscious handknit sweaters. With a focus on sustainability, each piece is made with all natural eco friendly materials, from hemp to cruelty free wool. Attention to detail surpasses the surface techniques, and is woven into each garment with fair trade and on shore production. While each of these pieces are small batch produced, it’s a guarantee you’re collecting a work of art!

Emma Gage launched MELKE in 2020, creating a genderfluid collection through sustainable manufacturing practices of separates, outerwear, dresses and knitwear. The Minneapolis native seeks to empower those who wear the collection and encourage them to style the items to best showcase their identity.
Prior to launching the brand, Emma studied fashion design and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Marist College. She was the two time winner of the YMA Fashion Scholarship as well as the Kate Spade and Company Foundation Scholarship - her designs and work focus on luxury and high fashion within the realms of sustainability.
